Educating the Whole Child

It is our vision to be able to "Educate the Whole Child". We hope that our methods of education, would be able to nurture our children in all aspects of their beings, including: social-emotional, physical, creative, and cognitive capacities.

We strive to achieve this with support from teachers, parents, and the children themselves as surely to educate the whole child is not an easy endeavor in any ways. It requires strong partnerships and understandings from all the parties involved.

Spring Shine provides the required safe and positive learning environment for the children to be able to explore and develop themselves as best they can, while the teachers have the responsibility to guide them in the journey and provide all the instructions necessary to achieve this common goal. Parents spend the most time with their children, especially early age children, thus it is important that parents are actively involved in their children's developments as well.

In short, teaching the "whole child" requires us to view the children as multi faceted individuals with multiple needs and aspects of learning. Positive adult interactions with teachers and parents are important, as well as providing safe and positive environment to study in.

Children should be allowed to ask questions, make mistakes, and feel free to explore and grow in the environments around them. When children are treated as whole individuals, they will learn the skills necessary for life, which means they will be much better prepared in later life.
